Self awareness is the ability to be able to recognize different aspects of your personality and how they affect your behavior and emotions. Self awareness is a big part of self love because it helps you understand yourself better. This can help you recognize when something isn’t working for you, or allows you to make changes in certain areas so that you’re happier with how things are going for yourself as well as other people around them.
It’s important to understand that self-awareness is a skill that must be developed over time. You can’t just wake up one morning and suddenly become self-aware! It takes discipline, effort, patience, and practice. You need time every day to reflect on yourself without distraction or pressure from others so you can actually see yourself clearly; when we are too busy doing something else in life it becomes very difficult for us to really see ourselves objectively.
Self awareness allows us to take control over our emotions, so that we are not controlled by them. It also helps us determine if something needs changing or improving in the way we think or behave. For example, if you’re feeling anxious about a certain situation or task at work but don’t know why exactly (or don’t want to admit it), self-awareness allows you to look deep down inside yourself and figure out what is causing this feeling so that you can address it head on before it gets worse.
It’s not just being aware that you’re angry or upset—it’s understanding why you feel that way and what might have caused the emotion in the first place.
Self-awareness helps you improve your relationships with others because it allows you to be more authentic with people. When someone knows who they are, they’re more comfortable being themselves around others, which can make them much easier to relate to!

You need to know who you are, what makes you happy, what makes others happy and how to deal with your emotions. It will help you manage relationships better because you’ll be able to understand why people act the way they do around us and vice versa. If we don’t know ourselves then how can we expect others too? This is why self-awareness is so important!
